Twitter is currently unavailable for users worldwide, with the site apparently suffering a total outage.
Users trying to access the micro-blogging site Twitter through the web were greeted with a message informing them “Something is technically wrong” on Tuesday afternoon (Pakistan Standard Time). Users were unable to access Twitter on their mobile applications as well.
The message on the web portal adds, “We’re going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon.”
“Some users are currently experiencing problems accessing Twitter. We are aware of the issue and are working towards a resolution,” said the company on its official service status page.
Independent websites such as the Down Detector also showed a large number of complaints regarding the outage.
Twitter status section shows the micro-blogging site is working to fix the cause for such massive unavailability.
The ‘Is It Down Right Now’ website claims Twitter is offline “for everyone”, suggesting all 300 million users are unable to use the service.
